My Methodology
MY COACHING METHODOLOGY
As a coach, my approach is deeply influenced by the principles of humanistic psychology. I deeply believe that my clients have the tools, skills and resources within for long-term transformation. I focus on my clients unique journey, values, struggles, dreams, and visions to help them integrate their unique human experience. Read more about my philosophy here.
To get to the root cause of my clients blockages, I inter-weave a unique combination of Neuro-Linguistic-Programming (NLP), hypnosis, shadow work, mirror work (using the world as a mirror), emotional mastery, somatic and embodiment techniques into my program. Combining these methodologies unlocks the potential for long-term, genuine, integrated change. The mind, body, heart & soul philosophy.
“I just want to say thank you so much for your advice and guidance during one of the worst years of my life.”
NEURO-LINGUISTIC-PROGRAMMING (NLP)
Deep in the subconscious mind, we are running unconscious or subconscious programs. Which is great. It’s necessary. Imagine the overwhelm if you were conscious about every little thing your system was processing at any given moment. NLP is a powerful tool that not only identifies these patterns or programs, but can interrupt them; change them. By understanding how our mind processes language and the world around us, and how the mind stores this information we can access and reprogram the pattern at the core. It’s about changing the neural pathways in the brain that have made connections to thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Interrupting associations made in early childhood that we have unconsciously stored as truths.
“Letting go of who you thought you were is the first step of unleashing who you really are.”
HYPNOSIS
Hypnosis uses the power of suggestion and focused attention to access the unconscious mind. It provides a safe and controlled state where my clients can drop deeper into their mind and body. This process is complementary to my coaching practice. My understanding of this modality helps me safely guide inner child work, parts therapy, the sub-conscious and super-conscious as well as the emotional landscape of my clients; paving the way for lasting change.

SHADOW WORK
Shadow work addresses the darker aspects of our psyche—those parts of ourselves that we often avoid due to fear or shame. Ironically the very things we have been avoiding is often the pathway to liberation. Integrating the shadow (and golden shadow) is a core element of my coaching methodology. Using tools such as “The work” by Byron Katie, and other projecting / integrative methodologies unique to me, my clients can “call home” previously rejected aspects of their identity. This leads to greater self-acceptance and healing. Self-forgiveness and letting go of shame is fundamental to genuine change, and the wisdom hidden in these rejected parts is often the exact medicine needed for massive personal growth.
The integrated human experience is about integrating all of you, to become your best self, today. It’s about overcoming that internalised conflict that is keeping you stuck.

SOMATIC & EMBODIMENT TECHNIQUES
Somatic techniques focus on the body’s wisdom. If you’ve read such books as “The Body Keeps the Score”, or you were anything like me and loved Louise Hay’s work – you know the connection between physical sensations and emotional states. This was a big learning for me, personally. I had created massive external change – yet my body was exhausted and riddled with illness, aches and pains. You can read about my story more here. (Link to about me) Through practices such as mindfulness, breathwork, and movement, clients learn to listen to their bodies, which often hold valuable insights into unresolved trauma or stress. Embodiment techniques further enhance this connection by encouraging clients to inhabit their bodies fully, fostering a sense of presence and grounding that supports emotional regulation and self-expression.
“Sam is a master at what he does. One of the things I appreciate so much is that he’s done his own deep work, and so he’s able to help create deep transformation fast.”
The integration of all of these tools is the foundation of my work here at the integrated human experience. It addresses the multifaceted and the multidimensional nature of human experience. Blockages often stem from complex interplays of cognitive, emotional, and physiological factors. By employing a comprehensive approach that encompasses the mind, body, and spirit, I ensure that my clients can address and overcome their obstacles from a holistic standpoint.
This is the CORE of the Integrated Human Experience.
